“When I moved to Reno, I told myself that I would take the time to take care of me and put myself first and that included getting into a workout routine. When I found Kate in August 2014, I figured that’s what I would get but she is SO much more than a personal trainer. She takes the time to assess where you’re at, provides literature on current fitness and weight management issues you may be having, and takes the time to follow your nutrition and daily food log. All her workouts are fun, different, and she’s so personable and fun that you kind of forget that you’re in an intense workout. I have a torn ACL in my right knee and a recovering fractured left ankle so I used to have so much pain when working out. It really turned me off to exercise because no trainer I worked with before really realized how painful it was. Kate is so incredibly knowledgeable about the body and is aware of the dangers of putting too much strain on injuries. She has been focusing on my foundational balance abilities and strengthening the muscles around my knee and ankle so that I can increase my training. It has definitely worked and I can feel how much stronger I am all around. She takes the time to work through everything, not just rush through a workout like so many other trainers I’ve had. I have lost inches everywhere and am so happy with Kate’s skills and talents in helping me get into shape. I can honestly say that I am in the best shape of my life (even more so than when I was an athlete as a teenager). She’s affordable, and really works around schedules to accommodate all the other responsibilities we all have in the week. Kate is by far the best personal trainer I have worked with. I worked with Kate for about one year until I moved to Chicago. There are many qualities she has that you could only expect in the best personal trainers. She pays attention to your body limits and at the same time she pushes you to those limits. She puts your safety and physical health as a high priority and makes sure not only you have a great workout routine, but enough time and guidance to recover before next workout. I also like her training philosophy as I wanted a more long term sustainable habit building approach towards my workout routines and diet and she was very helpful in listening to my goals and providing guidance how to achieve them. One of the great things about the workouts is that she always changes the workouts so your body does not get used to them and this would get the most out of the time and effort you put into the workouts. She is also very flexible with scheduling as my schedule was changing all the time and she was very accommodating of that. Kate is a very professional trainer and knows what she is doing.
I really cannot say enough good things about Kate and MT ROSE Fitness. I would give my highest recommendation to Kate as a fitness trainer.
Kate and Kris are the best trainers I have ever worked with. They motivated me and pushed me to limits I didn’t think I could reach. They made me feel comfortable and made sure that I had fun while I was working out. I felt better, I was stronger, and more confident with my workouts when I was done training with them (I would still be training with them had I not moved to florida!)
If you’re in need of a little motivation to get to your fitness/health goals, these two are all you need! But make sure you get to them quick because I’m still working on convincing them to move to Florida with me!
Kate is definitely one of the best fitness trainers I have gone to. I have gone through several knee surgeries, and I was having all sorts of problems with my knees. So I started going Kate, she set me up with a customized program to strengthen my knees. What a great program it has been. My knees are much stronger, and the pain has gone. The best part – it’s fun to do. I really enjoy doing the program she set up for me.
