Hey There! I'm Kate.
I’d like to tell you about my personal journey. While I’ve loved fitness most of my life, good health isn’t something that I've always enjoyed. Growing up, I had a really hard time with my body image. Becoming overweight was something I feared due to my parent’s struggle with obesity. In my teen years, I was given a few weeks to live when I was hospitalized for severe anorexia. It was there that I also became bulimic. Eventually I regained enough weight to survive, but while I was discharged from the hospital, I wasn’t taught how to eat and live in a way that would help me to be healthy.
Years later, I developed a host of debilitating symptoms. After many disappointing visits to numerous doctors, I was finally diagnosed with Candidiasis- a candida infection deep within my body. I began to research and learn about nutrition on my own while I received treatment for the infection. Back then, resources on healthful eating wasn’t widely available like it is today. With lots of trial and error, I learned how to eat in a way that helped my body to heal and to feel better. Through my personal journey in health, I’ve learned how important balance is and that what works for one person doesn’t mean it works for everyone. My passion is to guide and help others in their own journey, whatever struggles or challenges they face.

Kate has over twenty years of experience in fitness and nutrition including personal training, experience in race and fitness event preparation. She has competed in numerous events and loves to encourage her clients while they participate and train together. She enjoys working with clients of all ages from teens to those in their golden years. Kate is well versed in body mechanics and is experienced in training clients with injuries.
